You're welcome, Ca88andra! Hope it was brief enough but helpful!
(It's kinda hard to explain it all in such brief explanations) but I tried to only answer your specific question.

Pecan-Sis, you can and should work on that!
You know better than to perform magick of any kind without full intent and full concentration or things could get ugly. But, you're Wiccan, aren't you? (I forgot what path you are.) Now that you're regaining your self confidence back after a bad breakup, I'm sure you can put more will into your magick again. (Personally, I don't do magick of any kind when I'm in a bad state of mind; not that I do magick real often, but that's just me!)

Ca88andra,
Traditional Witchcraft has neither the Wiccan Rede nor the Threefold Law. There is no morality test, only personal responsibility and honor. Also, there is no good or evil, only intent. Humans have the ability to make decisions and act on them, and they may choose and act with good or evil intentions. Traditional Witchcraft does not set out laws as to what actions and intentions are evil, but followers of this path take responsibility for them. Basically, this means that using curses, hexes, and the like are not ruled out on principle. If provoked or threatened, the Traditional Witch may act for self-preservation or the protection of family, friends, and home. These are considered honorable acts. Yet if there are negative consequences, the Traditional Witch is willing to suffer them. Still, we always consider possible unforseen interference and outcomes that may unexpectedly involve innocent others in which was not our intent. That is why I am always very, very careful when doing magick of any kind.

Be careful--
No matter what your intentions, it will come back to you times three. I can vouch for that.

Nice work
You are so much more focused than me. I may be able to hear things; sometimes see things; but my spells never really have the desired effect. I'm probably too wrapped up in the Karma I'm always worrying about.

Spitfire - just one question, do traditional witches believe in karma and the law of three?

Oh, TG, you shouldn't be scared of your Spitfire!
You know me better than that!

Just look how over-generous I was toward Fingercuffs!! Being a trad witch, look at all the opportunites I had to get even with revengeful fury! (Which I chose NOT to!) Lukcy for her, of course. I knew (after that last spell I posted about) that she was LUCKIER than I even thought after seeing the success of that doozy of a spell!! Oh, if Fingercuffs only knew how close she was to...welll, let's not go there, eh?!

Gotcha, T-99. K, now I understand...fully what you're saying.
It's funny how men and women work. Women are attracted to what works for them and vise versa, til it no longer works for them...and again, vise versa. Kinda sounds like my story in this blog.

I was interested in men who weren't available because *I* wasn't available.....when I got over him, I became available for the first time.....and the unavailable men no longer interested me.

K, T-99, but I'm confused as to where you said
Then I got over my ex, and the rest of me became available for men, not just my libido. Available for which men? Single? Me Confuussed!

I went through a phase where the only men I found attractive were either married or gay. They were 'safe' because they might flirt, but I never had to actually get involved. However, I hung out with a group where a number of the men were MBA (married, but available) so I never had to worry about pissing off their wives. In fact, one of them I could call HER and say "do you want me to get him out of your hair?" and she'd be like, "YES!".
Then I got over my ex, and the rest of me became available for men, not just my libido.

Perfect description, RachelA. Exactly.

fascinating story just coming in on
u scare me, Spit! Rachelanna -- two things: 1) there are many reasons women go after married men -- low self-esteem sometimes, yes, but many married men, besides being pigs, often radiate a confidence that is attractive. 2) where are the cookies? tg

Oh, but Rachel A, hopefully, you read the previous posts
in order to understand what led up to that "chapter". There was a previous spell I had to do first!
