Quirky,
Nope, gonna wait and try to keep low until after the other subscription expires so I can maybe go back to myddrin alone and keep my posts intact. Anyway, I'm taking down the computer tommorrow and no sense in trying to be sensational until I get back on-line. shadow

Kay, I would love to see distribution lists made public whether
someone chose to post theirs or not. It would be quite revealing I'm sure. I imagine most bloggers would howl bloody murder about having theirs be public record, though. I would also like to see who is clicking whom on a daily basis regardless of whether they leave comments, esp. the blogger(s) who have many non-active accounts.

I try to leave comments
as it happens sometimes it may be just Good Post. Other times I find that what I have clinked on isnt worth reading and I move on. Keep Writing and Smiling

So if Blogit makes all our reading distribution lists visible then that will fix it?

It would be nice to know who is behind the invisible clicks.
Besides, it would be nice to who is reading you even if they didn't comment. Oh, well. I don't
always comment on blogs if I really don't have anything to say about it (not to say whether it's good or bad.) I also don't comment on blogs just to get a reciprical click on one of mine.

Carpel Tunnel? Too bad. I like to click on my own thing.
But no... our "self-clicks" don't count.
LoL. Blogit Brian. Come on, Blogit Brian... don't be shy... help fix the bad system!

rachelAnna, clicks to yourself don't get you anything
except a sore wrist and carpel tunnel syndrome.

As far as ratings go though,
isn't a click a click? Put aside how much you profit from each, each time your clicked doesn't that count? So what keeps people from just clicking their own way to the #1 spot? Or do your own clicks not count? Sure, the person wouldn't earn much, but you've got to wonder if people haven't done that in the past.

Not all clicks are created equal.
Thing is though, that it is NOT just clicks. Let's say ccnews reads 100 blogs a month, I read 600 and Ariala reads 2000. (These are hypothetical, yet in line with past amounts we have each posted)
One click from ccnews might be the same *percentage* of his overall reads as six clicks from me, or even 20 clicks from Ariala, so you would earn MORE by getting him to read than you do either me or Ariala.
But your rankings are based on total clicks.
So - if ccnews clicked on you 20x, I clicked on Wiley 20x and Ariala clicked on Beachbelle 20x - you each got the SAME # of clicks, but you would make more money for the same amount of reads than either Wiley or BB, because one click from ccnews is a greater percentage of his overall reads.

This is pure bullshat. Look where this blog is in the rankings to prove it's own hypocrisy. I have made a comment on sassy's blog to outline my case on Blogit. I invented the expression 'poor hapless newbie' which you have appropriated and brazenly taken advantage of to obtain clicks. Your argument sucks.
