Best to get pharmacist's recommendation for a quick remedy / treatment for the snores. Try the doctor if the common cures don't work. More problems may arise if this is left unattended. Don't worry. Just start getting help for it.

Symphony,
I gave up asking hubby to stop snoring...I just gently shove his body and turn his head a few times until he stops on his own. It's worth the five minutes I invest....great night's sleep!

See, if you did the laxatives thing then he'd be in the toilet all night. Runny poo isn't that noisy, you know...

I feel your pain!
Perhaps it's time he see a doctor. There are many "cures" for snoring out there. Maybe one will work for him. Also, heavy snoring could be a sign of sleep apnea. And that is a dangerous thing to have. Seek out a sleep specialist! But in the meantime, go to your local drugstore and try out the over-the-counter cures for snoring. There are sprays and nose patches these days.
Good luck!

Symphony-record him snoring and you asking him to be quiet. Play it back to him. See what he says then!
