- Go to The Dead Can Be Quite Manipulative When They Choose To Be!
My uncle was having a past life regression with his then-girlfriend, and
when he later tried to play the audio tape made of the session, all you can hear is the scraping of the reels where his voice should be....the questioner can be heard loud and clear. Additionally, his girlfriend was talking about hiding, and was then stabbed in the back. The spot that she pointed to in her back where the knife was later evidenced itself in her newborn daughter, as a huge birthmark in the exact spot.

mariantonia, no,
religion doesn't unless one is too manipulated by a religion that tells them it's evil and they choose to believe it. Supernatural powers are natural life forces of energy and one's own will, belief, and trust has much to do with it. Our Higher Power and our spirit guide are there to protect us. You don't have to be a witch to do magick, either. However, many witches are born with a "sixth sense" or born with stronger esp than normal humans are born with and it helps, but we are also learned. Meaning we studied many aspects, outcomes, methods, practices, the "big no-no's", reprocussions, unforseen interference, etc.

Does religion stand in the way of using inherent supernatural powers? The mysticism is thwarted by some other higher power.

Animals are queer. With their own energies. Dogs are known to see visions. Cats are from folklore.

Mariantonia, I wish I could have another cat...
My gigantic dogs would eat it, though. It was hard enough to train them to leave my infant squirrel rehabs alone! Now, my squirrels can run around my body or sit on my shoulder as I walk through my house without them trying to eat them. Maybe, just maybe, I can do the same if I can have a cat again!

Mariantonia, damn, woman! You've got so many blogs
I can't even remember which one I just commented in! I'll find it! As far as soliciting business, I'm lucky enough as to where I actually don't advertise. All my clients come from word of mouth references except those that come from my website. I have clients all over the country just by personal references from others and I'm grateful for that. If I did publically advertise, I'd never make it! I already have a waiting list for readings of up to 3 weeks. I barely have enough time to schedule those into my days! Sheesh. Guess I should count my blessings, but hell, sometimes I'm too overwhelmed!! Now, let me go figure out where that comment is...

Spitfire~ anyway, on the subject of making money, the services of divination/ readings/similar services is tough to solicit paying customers.

mariantonia, thank you so much!
That's a sweet comment. I don't know if I'm multi-talented, but if I am it's for all the weird freak kind of stuff!! If I had a choice, I think I would have asked for the brain of a genius or something!!

voodoo
I think that in those voodoo ceremonies, what we have is really an orgy of channelling because of the tremendous center of power the rituals create, but the voodoos think the spirits are really these gods and goddesses...and it all gets out of control. I don't want to knock the religion, but this element of chaos was the scariest thing about it. I saw my first ghost when I was four. My grandmother saw ghosts also. I do a bit of spellwork, try not to be negative. At any rate....I hope you scroll back and read all the ghost stories...all real...and I hope you stay tuned for the stories yet to come.

Jimmy, it's SO easy for the dead to be "called back"
but some of the "dead" come back and forth whether or not they're "called" or not. They come and go as they please...ya know, just to see what's goin on here on the earth plane. I know I'll come back no and then when I get bored on the other side. (Oh, and to see who's replaced me sleeping in the wet spot in our bed!)

Just because they are dead doesn't mean they are gone...
I don't see myself sticking around long to be called back though...I'll be looking for a body to get back into the mix

I don't think the dead can feel the wet spot!
