Someone I know said I should join about 6 months ago...
it took me 4 months to listen to them...now, I wonder why I waited so long...I write because I like to write, I read because it brings me closer to the family of blogit, I comment because someone needs a hug or I need to let someone know that their I think their stuff is good, I click because the person is either now someone I care about or they are posting on something that interests me, sometimes, I use a title to lure in new comments so I can learn more about what people think of my writing...so far comments are few but dear and heartfelt from my reader friends.

i came here for interaction. I used to write in a paper journal but i like writing at blogit better. I still write in a paper journal when I don't have access to a computer.

I just had to say that I actually thought the same thing about the ranking
numbers next to our blogs and felt bad for those who only had 25 people
reading their posts! Are we dumb? Anyway if I get caught up in the
politics I read you and ES and Dances and feel better! Like I always say

Well, my "innocent" got me involved with blogit. He had been trying to get me to join for a long time, before my surgery. But, I had other preoccupations. After my surgery and having to sit at home, and the fact that he was sent to war, I decided to join just to read his stuff. I was timid at first about putting my thoughts in public, but after watching comments and the fun, I jumped in, screwed up my first post royally, and then started making friends. Now I feel like I'm part of a large family that doesn't depend on me for financial support, (the best kind). I have dear friends, such as yourself to communicate with that sincerely are glad to hear from me. I see it as if you didn't, you wouldn't respond. I can be silly, serious, stupid, sincere, and plain crazy. Whatever mood I'm in, I'll always find a willing individual to respond. I've learned a lot from reading works and have taken the voluntary suggestions to use for improvement on my own stuff. I have heard issues that say, "Anthropology study" or "Sociology study" and someday may be asking permission to use some of the posts for classroom lecture. College students would love this stuff.
