Quirky,

My birthday is July 9th. I've sent you a e-mail, o.k. Shadow

Hi Hanna B, It WAS funny and since only two of you bloggers bothered
to translater the sentence, you are both going to win extra clicks!!

Shadow, why can't you eat it next week? What day is your b-day?
We can throw a virtual party and have virtual cake with ...how many candles?? 21??

Glad you liked the sentence.  I thought it was pretty funny myself, but then, I'm easily amused.  (Which is kind of nice, actually.)

Oh Quirky,

I'm also making myself ill at the moment. I'm eating my birthday ice cream a week early (Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey). I won't have time next Friday. I'm extremely lactose intolerant. But, what the heck, once a year, it's worth it. I took three of my pills earlier to help. Shadow

Correction: Never, EVER use ANY thesaurus.

translate it with slang and then with French slang. That might be funny!!

Quirky,

After spending years in Canada driving a truck. You would be surprised at the slang I've picked up. But, if you would rather I didn't, then o.k. probably would not be appropriate anyway. Shadow

Shadow, yeah, but I doubt it would be funny. Maybe. That was the
general point to the exercise, though.

Quirky,

No, I'm not a translator except for French language. Hey, maybe I could do a translation in French if I can find my french thesaurus, its packed up. How about that? Shadow

I can connect from home. But are you gonna translate the sentence? I only have two people so far...need more!! Get Sciber to do it also!!

Quirk,

College habit really. I try not to use computer except as a final edit for grammar and sentence structure. I don't trust computers, especially this one anymore, not after spyware crap. I'd like to get a new one. This thing is older than four now and I want cd burner and digital production. Shadow

I am traveling and do not have a thesaurus, but I did find an online Spanish translator.

"Thou shall not spill secrets, tell lies or commit serious crimes against humanity."

Translated into Spanish and then back to English:

“Thousands will not spill secrets, will not say lies nor will trust serious crimes against humanity”

"Ye be going to not spray private parts, speak mumbo-jumbo or perpetrate sober misdeed touching people."

Translated into Spanish and then back to English:

“Ye is going not to sprinkle deprived pieces, not to speak mumbo-enormous or to not perpetrate to stirring people of misdeed sober”

My translation of the whole thing “Thou shalt not spill seeds and lie about where you spilt them…or someone else will claim your plants”
