Aha: "Paradise Films"
He did some uncredited editing as an intern there. Starts an unpaid low budget horror film in Camarillo this week, for film credits. Working on Kodak-grant little film of some sort now for free/film credits. Haven't seen hm to ask about her.

Awesome!
I, too, love knowing I have made a difference in someone's life! It's such a wonderful feeling.

Hi majroj, did he ever take a class with a professor named
Naomi Bishop? She's a colleague who teaches there.

My son graduated from CalState Northridge in "Media" this month...maybe.
(They later sent letters to a number of media students that some credits they allowed them initially were being "de-recognized" [my phrase]AFTER graduation ceremonies!).
He has had the luck of interning with Paula Fouce on her Indian documentaries, then received an internship with the company of Quincy Jones III on, of all things, a hip-hop video and mini-doc. They had him driving his beaten-up '96 4-Runner all over greater L.A., ferrying tape copies, carrying clearances to be signed, sitting waiting in what he describes as huge personal libraries adn at gates for entrance in BelAir...other than hte understanding this gave him of the underpinnings of the actual media work, it also gave him a little dose of being the minority kid in a business.(No, they didn't let him do much on the work itself, just enough to justify getting him referred by the school).
PS welcome back, and keep those iterns coming!
