Don't speak Filipino, though I am engaged to a guy who is half Filipino. And I know a few words here and there, though not nearly enough to understand anyone speaking fluently.

The most comprehensive book I have read on Hawaii was fact/fiction novels by James Michener, Hawaii and Tales of The South Pacific. And I have travelled extensively among the Islands, although only ones in Hawaii itself.
