                    I musta missed something...

I don't read any blogs for a few days, and I get totally lost.  That'll teach me!  What's this "D" you're going to soon?
BTW, I think that giving up your hair is one of the most beautiful things you ever could have done for him!  That's awesome!  You do sound like an incredible person all around.

My friend's dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and given six months.

She was due with a baby, nearly to that day.  I felt so powerless being so far away and broke.  But my hair was beautiful, waist length and natural, so I shaved my head and donated it all in his honor.  Just to show my support for my friend, and for her brave dad, who fought that cancer until just a couple weeks ago, 7 months longer than his prognosis said.

                    Just read something

so wonderful from sue's new blog. It was about someone who had shaved their head to donate the hair to an organization that makes wigs for kids going through Chemo. You wouldn't know anything about a wonderful gester like that would you? My mom is in here 80s legally blind and still goes like a 30 year old. My dad died several years ago and instead of sitting and waiting for her turn she seems more determined to enjoy every minute of her remaining life. She is a real inspiration to me.
