I know it sounded like a football score, but it was played with a baseball throughout. Honest. Even the Tigers' 11-run sixth inning was accomplished by launching baseballs into the seats instead of a touchdown, two-point conversion, and a field goal. Better yet, my Tigers won another one against Cleveland today by the more baseball-like score of 5-2. Rondell White hit a three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth.

I didn't know you were a Pirates fan. They've been one of my favorite NL teams going back to the days of Willie Stargell. You probably should hook up with Steelerman61. He's got blogs on the Steelers and the Bucs in Sports.
