The comments were backed up just fine and were recovered. The posts were not. So unfortunately there's no way to recreate the posts.
We're working on implementing further redundancy so that data is not lost. Even if there is a backup failure. We very much regret this. There is unfortunately nothing else we can do to recover the lost posts.
