Well, we finally went to the ER...
it's a bad allergic reaction, to God only knows what, since he ate and played and did all the normal stuff yesterday. So he's taking Benadryl for the itching and some form of cortisone for the swelling.... but he's okay, though we are all a bit groggy today from lack of sleep.

Panicky, neurotic, mom.
Fisrt, calm down. Second, get that 4-year-old kid to a doctor, STAT!
Sure, it may be an allergic reaction to something, but often, if unchecked, allergic reations can turn into life-threatening reactions!
I used to get hives over everything under the sun--especially pet dander. Now, my throat simply swells up, I start choking, and, obviously, find it very difficult to breathe. I rarely get rashes these days, however, I do remember a time when my rashes and my breathing difficulties coincided. Don't let your little one getr that bad. And don't let any new allergic reactions go unchecked.
