- Go to Mr. Excitement In The NBA?
A Minor Pro League, huh...
Hmmm, I hope Mr. Excitement finds his luck there.
About college students getting into the NBA: wasn't that introduced due to the case of Spencer Haywood (if I am not mistaken)?

One of the USBL teams...
I believe, although I'm not positive. I promote the concept of Minor League Professional Basketball, but have to admit to not following it closely. My reasoning is that a strong Minor League program would keep the colleges from serving as the NBA's Minors. I'm tired of seeing kids who have no interest in an education taking the scholarships away from true scholar-athletes. I like the system Major League Baseball uses. A youngster can go pro (the minors) or go to college. If he opts for an education first, he cannot be drafted again till after his junior year. I think this would be better for the pros, the colleges, the fans, and especially for the kids.
