- Go to Todd Bertuzzi Cries Real Tears--What Next?
I'm late to comment, I know - just found your blog - I felt bad for Bertuzzi, too, cause he's great, when he isn't suckerpunching.
are you a Flyer fan, then (is that stupid question)? Cause the Flyers are always tough. Our Leafs come back battered. Hockey's rough, which's hard because it's part of the appeal and it's part of the turnoff.

Good Point, Benzinha!
I can completely relate...
I think there is just something internal to me... something about a guy--any guy-- in tears. I don't quite know why, but I think I just really felt for them both. But I do agree with your comment on the assault thing! I was just thinking the same the other day when I heard about it...

I think that he would do it again, given the emotions and hockey's free for
all spirit of stupidity. When non-hockey players do this to someone they go to jail for assault. Life should be the same for everyone, on and off the ice. Whiney little tuff guys. Tired of cry babies who think that tears will save their salaries.

I think the point is that hockey is too violent. It doesn't have to be this brutal to be interesting and entertaining.
