Missouri Postcard

cows immersed in cooling waters shoulder to shoulder in the shallow pond black and white hides seek relief from the sun's scathing rays in likeness, my mind seething with past sorrows dives into the pool of welcoming nothingness suddenly fireworks explode overhead into geometric brilliance fireflies...
