A grand dame of eighty seven is she Her silvery hair combed in a coil Her powdered face makes me smile I lay my head on her lap My favorite place Just so her warm hands Can hold me close Her home on stilts no brickhouse can blow Her journeys of life so sweet Her stories larger than life This day...
