My writing has been greatly inspired by my favorite author, Dr. Seuss. They (my poems) are simple, humorous, witty and always carry a punch. most are words of wisdom. All are written from life experiences and dreams. "Live life and love life now because time is fleeting" Oh, I will be adding new poems daily, so put me on your friends list and check back often, My poems are worth the look I assure you. I just ask that you be patient with me, until I get this Blogit thingie figured out. My name is David W. Smith, seriously_dave is my "pen name." I am an aspiring self proclaimed poet who enjoys writing and reading poetry. I love a good book. I love photography, the outdoors, camping, biking and a good camp fire. I love music, instrumental, smooth jazz, Electronic and some techno. My one published work is "Poetry with wit" I am currently writing a book about my life called "Rides on waves", which is a compilation of about 40 short stories of my life growing up. they
