We rescued FIVE PERSIANS yesterday... frantically. We received word that ten persians were dumped at an animal control in the DFW area... and were going to be euthanized as they were owner surrendered. Rescues stepped up... we got five and another got the other five. More frantic phone calls for... Sign in to see full entry.

Meet this world's best kitten!!!! this boy loves to assist me when I am cleaning, baking, reading, sleeping... so of course, that means.... transport of animals. However, even though the space will be bigger, better, and newer... they have sent out notice that unless rescue comes to rescue animals.... few will be transported. This is a pic of a calico persian mix we received a phone call on last week... we finally got pics of her... as well as transport set up and we are getting her and her sister this weekend!!!! we could not replace the alternator on our own... had to have it replaced at the shop. We were able to rescue a momma and her six kittens from the pound today... with vet care for them all from the loving generosity of a fellow blogit member!!!!!!!! okay... no one at four places could get the battery out... B and I spent half and hour this morning... going at it from underneath.... and we got the battery out.... got a new one... replaced... got it all in and everything.... now my alternator is going.... looks like i may not be able to wait... It should not be hard to replace a battery... really it should not but it has been for me today. Somehow the side post screw has been stripped and no car shop i went to today could get the battery out to replace it!!!! something about it needing to be tapped.... will have to wait because it was dark...
