Arthur Miller to the Rescue
When Monty's off-Broadway play, The Seagull, was having trouble, Arthur Miller was asked to step in to re-direct it. Significant improvement was made. Miller also wrote the screenplay of Monty's 1961 film, The Misfits, and was married to co-star Marilyn Monroe (also, see 8/25/09 entry). Sign in to see full entry.
