Salka Viertel
Salka Viertel was a Polish actress-screenwriter who befriended Monty and offered advice at the beginning of his career. Salka died in 1978 at age 89. Her son, Peter, was a writer married to his From Here to Eternity co-star, Deborah Kerr (9/29/09 entry). Sign in to see full entry.
