HIS BIRTHDAY FALLS ON EASTER THIS YEAR

My youngest son turns five this Easter. Most likely this will be the only time his birthday ever falls on Easter, since the next time this will happen is going to be 2160. It is the 2nd earliest possible day of the year for Easter to take place on, with March 22nd being the only possible earlier... Sign in to see full entry.

HE DIDN'T GET A PART IN THE PLAY

I spent two hours yesterday sitting and watching as 148 kids went through the audition process the people running things had set up. It was long and interesting. They started off by telling all the kids what they wanted: #1 loud and clear voices, #2 expressive gestures and faces and #3 ability to... Sign in to see full entry.

GONNA TAKE HIM FOR HIS FIRST AUDITION

My older boy has always shown an interest in the stage and putting on a show for people. We've had him in a few acting classes last year and he really enjoyed them. \Well next week our local Cultural Center is going to hold open auditions for the Missoula Children's Theater presentation of Robin... A TRULY GREAT COMPLIMENT

So last Thursday my son had his operation. I had to work that day and was not able to be there until after it all was done. I had promised him the night before that I would be there as soon as possible. Well after he woke up he did start asking for me. Normally he is very much a momma's boy, so... IT ALL WENT WELL

My little guy is home and recovering from getting his tonsils and adenoids removed this morning. Everything went well and there were not complications at all. Right now he is really worn out and grouchy for the most part. Most likely he'll be back to his normal self, and possibly even more energetic... Sign in to see full entry.

OF TONSILS AND ADENOIDS

We are going to start this year off with a little fun. Our four year old is going in to get his tonsils and adenoids taken out this Thursday. That should make for an interesting week after that. I am figuring that for at least the first day or so he will be out of it enough that it will not be hard... Sign in to see full entry.

SO FAR THEY'VE HAD A GOOD CHRISTMAS AND IT IS NOT OVER YET

My boys are at a really great age for Christmas. They have been making a mess of the house with their gifts and they seemed excited over just about everything they got. So for their favorites seem to be the Doctor Who figures. Although we still have Spider-Man race set to put together, which I would... Sign in to see full entry.

BAKING COOKIES WITH MY BOYS

I just had a real great morning. My boys and I just baked a batch of cookies. For those of you who read my religious blog, you might know that for me part of my Christmas traditions is baking cookies and since I have my own boys now, it is something I really enjoy sharing with them. So of course I... Sign in to see full entry.

THE FIRST SLEEP OVER

Right now we have survived our son's first slumber party. So far he has enjoyed it, as have the other boys. They somehow were able to stay up till 11:00 and then get up around 6:00 and still be as full of energy as it gets. It seems as with so many other kids, they have enjoyed my basement the most.... BOMB THREAT AT THE GRADE SCHOOL

Yesterday was an interesting day for my son's school. Some one called in a bomb threat. So right away they had to evacuate the school. So you have a whole building full of grade school kids spending an hour or so at the park next to the school as the building is swept for bombs. It most likely was... Sign in to see full entry.
