The genius of Ariel Sharon's politics: He saved Israel Twice.

Not since Charles DeGalle has a country's leader so dramatically returned to government in orer to "save" his nation -- twice. DeGalle was a hero of the second world war, became president and was largely hailed as France's savior from fascism. But he left government when petty political bickering began to diminish his role.
