Although this issue does not have anything to do with BN specifically, we are posting a notification since it may be affecting some BN members who use Microsoft Windows.

There is a new computer virus ("worm") that is affecting people worldwide. To prevent this problem, please install all critical updates for your computer system by going to the Microsoft Windows Update site.

One BN member has reported that their problem was resolved by updating their computer. (For more information, see the news stories.)

For me, the Blogging Network froze up last night (11:55-12:03 or so) and I lost something which I wish some staff over there could try to find:  "EditPost.aspx?post=33289".  How about it?

So far, myself, Horus and gomedome have all encountered the same problem...

Is there a hacker on BN - is it possible?  I am being shut down by my computer - the same thing that's happening to gomedome.  I am writing this post from a different computer and I am still getting an error report so that suggest to me, it isn't my home computer that has the problem.

Can you please issue some urgent help?  I have a link from gomedome but I feel there could be a hacker on this network, given the evidence.

Thank you for this blogging network.  I think it's really cool.  I get more out of this $5.25 a month than just about anything else I could do for 10 times as much money.  I like it better than t.v. too.  (Okay, now I'm sounding 10.) I guess what I'm trying to say is, I think you're really cool for what you're doing.  And I, for one, really appreciate the thought that went into making this blog network available to people like myself.  You see, I just discovered blogging about a month ago, and since that time I feel like I've picked up a whole new family.  Sure, there are family members that get on the nerves, or try to be clever at my expense, but I've gotten that all my life and I made it this far.  Right?  Anyway, all I'm trying to say is: thanks.
