Having problems today?

What's going on over there?  Why can't I edit or even read a particular day's posting (Feb. 16th) in my "Shakespeare's Mysteries" blog?  I'm trying to edit it but it's no longer available!  Did you guys get bought out by Big Brother?

NO ACCESS TO COMMENTS OR OTHER PEOPLE'S POSTS

Is there are a problem with the comment section. When I go to access comments in full it says it is not available. Nor are posts I try to click on. Could you please put out a post to notify us about the problem.

a new kid on the block

Hello,

I'm new to blogit, well, six months new and I've not been on in six months, i'm back and I'm just not understanding how this whole blogit works.

I wrote a piece, how do i promote it?

and do writers also read other writers or only readers read writers...it's all so confusing to me.

please, any advice, help!

templates

Is there a place to cut and paste templates so I can change the basic template that I have for my blogs.

I think a paypal donor button on each blog is a good idea. Maybe Blogit staff could brainstorm some ideas on how writers can make more money blogginghere.

comments to posts

heyout there, i have a bit of a problem i think. I've been reading other people's work and commenting on them but I tend to write long paragraphs instead of short and sweet.  but alot of the things i am reading, it sounds like they need an understanding ear and advice and I have been able to do that do to my school of life. But all my comments are like a chapter long (exagerating) and everyone else is like one sentence comments while i write what i read into the poem and then comment on what i felt in the poem and thus the poet's life and feelings.  Is this wrong to do? if so how to keep it short or if i cant resist but to help someone who is reaching out for and understanding ear.yup, they are about this long. Tell me what you think. thanks

Blog Cleaning

I wondered if it would be possible to make blog cleaning quicker and easier? Right now you can only delete one post out of a blog at a time. Couldn't the blogs be set up like emails in that you can place a check beside each post you want to delete, then delete a bunch at a time? That would be just so awesome and timesaving.

Also, FoxyBlue's commment about ending up in other bloggers' editing template? That's happened to me too, about three times.

consolidating blogs

I have reached out for help on this matter several times and I still am confused and clueless on how to fix my problem. What I am trying to do is consolidate all my blogs into one blog. Im new to Blogit and I made too many blogs and was adviced to have one blog for all my poetry posts and was given advice on how to do this. I have tried and tried and I just can't figure it out. If somebody could help dummy here in a very easy step by step or do it for me that would be terrific. So far the instructions I have been given, I just cant figure it out. thank you,  tammy jean

I think there needs to be a new category...

a Contests and Games category.  We could put all the contests and games that are all over the place now, into one category.  It would help the people who enjoy those posts to find them easier.  Just a thought, I think I'll offer up my suggestion for a change in the ranking system later on too.

Thanks...

Two Problems. I emailed one and no one got back to me.

First problem.  I keep trying to post new blogs to my Random Acts of Kindness Blog, but it will not take them.  It is stuck on a blog I posted several days ago.  Can you fix it for me?

Second problem.  I checked my account information and it shows absolutely no change in the amount I made.  In other words, the amount it showed I made from Friday to Saturday is the same today on Sunday.  That isn't right. I received many comments, so I know I made money.  Has it just not been updated yet?

WHY SHOULD I STAY AT BLOGIT WHEN I CAN DO THE SAME THING & MAKE OVER $7,000

First, I do have to admit that I love writing here, but I think this site needs to take into consideration the policy they have currently on the restrictions of us having the ability to make money here.

Here are some issues that I wanted to bring up.

  • Why can't we have a PayPal donation button on our blogs? If we are doing a really good job, I don't really see the harm in having a button on our pages.
  • If we are authors and have written books, why can't we have a link on our blogs telling others that this is where they can purchase them?
  • If we are discussing the ability to use a certain product that pertains to our blogs, why can't we obtain the referral fee for the click or purchase of the product.

I really think these issues need to be addressed, because too many people will end up signing up here, then they will leave or blog here on a very part-time basis. I can't afford to blog all day here for a dollar or seven at the most like some of the top bloggers here do.

I wanted to do a combination of both write here and blog on the outside, but I see also on your policy that I can't link to any blogs that are in direct competition to your site. I see the profit margin for you, but what can you do for us. After all we the members are the people that are putting some serious cash into your pocket, I think we should have the right or ability to do the same thing don't you?
