THE UNFOLDING PLAN OF BLOGIT AND WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU

It seems to me that Blogit can become a thriving community of great writers and a money-making opportunity if someone plays their cards right.  Unfortunately, it's not up to us as much as it is to the owners of Blogit to think of new ways to increase our chances of making money here and to possibly be noticed by agents.

Here are some suggestions I have for Blogit:

  • Allow Ad Sense to place ads related to blogs on our posts.  With each click writers and Blogit could make extra money.
  • Once a month, invite an agent, as guest writer, to post an AGENT BLOG.  This person could give tips, read our work, and provide input.
  • Provide quarterly cash contests to bloggers for best small story, best poem, best investigative piece, etc.
  • Provide opportunities for publishing our work elsewhere.  Blogit should make connections with paying magazines, ezines, newsletters and etc. and other potential markets and promote us to them.

Although it's not Blogit's responsibility to make sure we get published, and get work as writers, it would definitely give them more clout and attract more writers if the "writer's marketplace" idea too better hold and had potential for its members.

Meanwhile, you can still make a $20 referral for each new member.  It's a good idea to include Blogit on your email footers, your website, and maybe even promote them in other creative ways to your friends, family and associates.

Okay, does this post make it seem like I work for Blogit?  Well, I do in a sense, just as many of you do...after all, the more people who join, the more potential to grow our piggy bank funds.
