OUR MILITARY LEADERS CONFESS

What most of us have known for a long time -- our military is being stretched too far. Whether you were for or against the Iraq war, you must admit something needs to be done. We can not continue on and on in Iraq -- we must not, and I repeat must not allow it to become another Viet Nam. Sign in to see full entry.

MORE OF OUR TROOPS TO IRAQ

Today more troops from our area Army base left for Iraq for a years assignment. Most of these men and women have already been there once, and now they must go again. Though these men and women love their country, many of them did admit, it was harder to go this time than the first, and I must admit... Sign in to see full entry.

THE NEWS AROUND THE WORLD IS NOT GOOD

Today in my own world, I face a most challenging task. I am to officiate at the funeral of a 14 year old teenager who lost a gallant seven month fight with Leukemia. It was a long and hard war, with many battles being won, but the last battle being a heartbreaking loss -- or is a a win -- the... Sign in to see full entry.

PRES. BUSH, RONALD REAGAN, AND JOHN PAUL II

What do these three have in common? Two of them, Reagan and John Paul II, changed their world forever, and George W. Bush has a chance to do the same. Let us pray hard for him, and listen closely to him tonight. We may not all agree with him, and I don't, but we do need to agree on this point -- he... Sign in to see full entry.
