Suicide bombings hit Moscow Metro

Suicide is sad and what more sucide to murder! Did you know, that there have been 460 suicide attacks in 2005, 81 attacks in 2001 and 5 per year in 1980's. And, according to a study, Majority of suicide bombers came from the educated middle classes. We have to think of a solution to stop these human bombs. No one has a right to kill anyone else. How can we stop it? I feel so helpless but there must be a way. There is always a way. The only way I can think of right now is the Gandhian way. Spread... Sign in to see full entry.

Tip# 20

One step easy plan to get Supreme Blog Success I got this one from the worldwide web. A blogger who supposed has about 100K readers shared his success mantra. So here it goes: "Find yourself a schedule for posting that is suitable to you and stick to it for over a year." The thing i liked about it is that it is similar to the dialy soaps on TV. The first season is usally the best for everything is planned out for the whole season. But then there are many people here, including me who write only... Sign in to see full entry.

Tip# 19

Be your own critic The tips which I have been posting lately (Tip# 17 and 18) have been picked up from the world wide web and are more to do with blogging in general for the sake of blogging. They might not go well with blogit environment as many of the readers who are here to write their feelings out than for professional blogging. But for those who aspire to be professional blogger, this is the place to be. Be your own critic. Now, how would you do that? Here is a suggestion that you can try:-... Sign in to see full entry.

Tip# 18

Subject Search These may sound like repetitive version of an earlier tip but it is not. This is about how a blogging about a certain subject, simple or complicated in a certain topic of any field can become a definitive blog on the topic. Let’s take the example of blogging about a game like Soccer. Just the word “ Soccer ” would make your blog show up in people search results and thus getting you more and more hits for that search term. Now isn’t that great. One post, many hits and All posts... Tip #17

Posts in Order Sometimes, people's unremarkable posts get clicked simply because they are the next post after a popular one. They are the first or most interestingly titled posts in the Recent Posts list that appear next to a popular post. Ideally, its best if the second post people read is another strong one, and not some random one. Try writing a "popular post" right after a nice one. You could even slightly tweak the posting time/date on the posts to ensure that this happens (but not so much... Sign in to see full entry.

Tip# 16

Blogs in different categories This is again from the Blogit creators. I would say i am just emphasizing their advices in my own words for everyone's benefit. So, the advice for today is write blogs in different categories. This way you can bring forward your work to different groups of readers. Thus you get many people reading your blogs. Of course, this stands good only as long as you can update them regularly. So write a small number of blogs on different topics, update them regularly and see... Sign in to see full entry.

Tip# 15

Write Intresting Topics This tip is also picked up from the official blogit help. Write on topics that are of interest to readers. When you see many readers comment on an entry, consider writing on similar topics. This would require research of some kind. Yet write what you are best at and what you can update regularly. For you never know, you can be the person who has started a certain trend. Sign in to see full entry.

Tip# 14

Split Short This one is from the official Blogit help. Split the long content in a single entry into several shorter ones. This is because many readers prefer to read shorter entries on a computer screen, until and unless the writer is a Mozart in writing. But even Mozart wouldn't have written classics all along. This might be a very dumb comparison but the point I want to convey today is very simple. Post short entries and frequently to get the most, as ultimately its happy readers leading to a... Tip # 13

More info on Google's Ad... from 1000storysoul More info on AdWords and AdSense: Adwords allows you to advertise your site using Google and their affiliates, however it costs you money. It's relatively cheap and you can set up how much you want to limit it by a month, but it does add up. Adsense is Google's program for you to put their ads on your site. You get credit whenever anyone clicks on an ad, and when you reach a certain amount, Google will pay you. By:... Sign in to see full entry.

Tip# 11

Pictures As the famous saying goes, " A picture is worth a thousand words". Its my personal thought that it applies very well in the blog world too. A pictures gains immediate attention of the readers. If i am just roaming around the blogs and i come accross a attractive picture, i stop by and read about it. Also when i see the photo of the person writting the blog, i tend to relate the stuff written to the person in the photo and it gives an human touch. And it is good in a way to remeber... Tip# 10

Regular Updates I had read this tip from the bloggit team itself and also from some good sould who have left comments about this tip. Update your blogs regularly and this would increase: number of readers, your rankings and most importatntly the earnings, and who knows you might get added to people's favorites list. So keep updating your blog frequently and not all at once. I remembered a joke we were sharing this afternoon on the same. My friends kid was fond of candy as any kid on earth, and... Tip #8

Be Courteous Try to be polite and don’t start fights or if someone has expressed their feelings in the most pathetic way then just don’t bother. As if you hit back it would make the whole atmosphere so unpleasant. It is of high possibility that you may offend someone with a misunderstood comment, or by posting something they can't digest, or just by existing, and that person will get in your face. The best thing to do is to turn away and decline to engage. I am not talking about someone who... Sign in to see full entry.

Tip #3

Captivating Blog Design First Impression is the best impression. A good blog design is a crucial part to help readers decide whether they’re going to hang around and track with your site over the long haul. Readers make judgements about your site within seconds of arriving at it - if they see something cluttered and confusing they’ll be less likely to want to return. Good design should highlights your content and help people to navigate your site well. Sign in to see full entry.
