What’s it like to be put on the spot? I have been introduced to people and one of the first things said is, “he is funny as hell, say something funny” or words to that affect. Yes, I do fancy myself as somewhat of a humorist. But I like to study my victims, er audience before I launch into something they may not find particularly funny.
