Here Haloween Kitty

A black cat’s howl arches it’s back and rides a broom over the moon. I know what would tame them and if would sure be handy had I not forgot to buy some candy. Sign in to see full entry.

A poem for all the kids

He snorted (from his nose I presumed) and asked how I could tell my nose from my tail.... Sign in to see full entry.

The world swirled And curled Till it just disappeared Into a multi colored bag I wanted to drive a Jag And... Sign in to see full entry.

Hoo Hay Falifax The goose from Halifax Sat on the train tracks. The parrot drew random scribbles Polly Wolly Doodle All The Day. The straw munched down The best tavern in the town The ale was pale But the barmaid was not We drank all day Till our brains turned to rot. Grainy greese grax The shirt... Sign in to see full entry.

Clover jewels, illustrated

Dewdrops in the grass Dewdrops like glass Beads on the leaves So round and smooth Diamonds of a different sort No pocket will hold them Only the eye Knows the worth Of the beauty they entrust Dewdrops lovely on the clover Yet turn the mightiest steel Into rust And if I was a dewdrop Lying in the... Days of doors

Doors open Doors close Sometimes they make a sound Othertimes the finality is mute. A door can be the beginning of a journey As well as the end of a road A locked door Challenge or warning? An open door Warning or invitation? A door ajar A door too far A door on broken rusty hinges Hangs at a loose... Sign in to see full entry.

Word thought piles

The words fell down on paper In little piles. I picked them up Shook them like dice And threw them back down Kept the ones I liked And re-arranged the letters Of the rest Until they said what I wanted. Writing is a game of chance There’s a chance I will get it right There’s a chance I will get it... Sign in to see full entry.
