Jesus' thoughts on Fear

I guess He said that worry cannot add thing to our lives. Easy for Him to say; He is God! I guess if I or you were God, we would not have to worry or fear either. That's the point! You are God! Or at least you have been created by God through Love. There is no reason to fear ANYTHING, cause nothing can separate us from the Love of God. What am I Afraid of?

FDR reminded us that we really only need fear Fear Itself! I would submit that you can rise above the place where fear makes any sense at all. If you doubt this, I invite you to try this experiment: Repeat the word shalom or a'salaam over and over quietly for 7 minutes. Then sit quietly for a minute or two and check in with yourself. What Is George Bush Afraid of?

Here is a life hint that will take you far: NEVER fully trust a person who operates out of fear. This is true on the personal level, the social level, even on the spiritual level. This is THE MAJOR REASON to vote George Bush out of office. Not only is he clearly motivated by fear (mostly), he is trying to convince you and me to join him in putting our faith in fear, rather than love.
