A glimpse of a novel Im currently working on... ______________________________________________________ Their breaths condenses into air and transforms it into mist as it touches the glass pane of the window. Breaths filled with anticipation of what is behind the curtain on the other side of this rectangular wooden framed window. The excitement of going home after nine years didn’t really sink in until I was boarding the plane last May. I was filled with mixed feelings inside me that even I couldnt explain. A part of me was happy I was going to be with my family and be with my Mom whom I havent been with since 1998; a part of me is hopeful that perhaps I can find means to earn a decent living back home so as to give me a good enough reason to turn my back from working abroad and stay back home.
