Italian Hostage Freed, then wounded by U. S. Troops
claims she was shot on purpose, that the American military wanted her to die because of the way she was released. Come on, now! I admit that I don't have all the facts of the shooting, but I would hope that my country's leadership was smart enough to do such a person in covertly. I certainly don't think the soldiers or marines gurading the post would have taken it upon themselves to shot her.
