In the classic Star Trek episode, The Omega Glory, a primitive people called the Yangs is at war with the ruling government. As the episode progresses, the Yang war drums are heard in increasing volume in the distance until the Yangs finally invade the government city and defeat their oppressors. Their victory won, the Yang chieftain utters a resounding phrase, “That which was ours is ours again!” This blog is now a war drum. I add it to the growing chorus of drums beating in the hills around the city of Washington DC. I do not advocate a revolution of violence and war. But I am joining others in beating our war drums for a peaceful and sweeping revolution at the polls starting in November 2010. This revolution will restore conservatives to power, and that which was ours – liberty, prosperity, restrained government, the rule of law, and personal responsibility - shall be ours again.
