Still crocheting

I have so much to write about. My mind never stops but here I am. Crocheting. Anything for the grandson. I can hardly wait to see him with his Dino blanket. The next great american novel will have to wait one more day. The head rolling around in my murder mystery will just have to roll around a... Sign in to see full entry.

Lucky

Did I just say how lucky I was? My daughter just handed me yarn and a pattern for a Dinosaur blanket. Can you crochet this for him by his birthday? Mom just bought me 60 tube socks to make sock puppets. Eeeck Sign in to see full entry.

Big day.

I am so very blessed my grandson lives with me. No, I'm not responsible for him, my daughter lives here to and she does all the hard work. I get to admire everything he does and watch him grow. Explain he did and soon I was much more clear on the math subject. It soon got around the neighborhood and our house was full of kids struggling with their homework. Dad helped them all just as he had helped them with family conflicts and Boy Scout badges. At one point he had even taught the... Sign in to see full entry.

Complex Dad

Life with my father was precarious his mood changed quickly and with very little warning. The man who could put your head into the paneling for a small offense would fight like a pitbull any sickness or bully that dared to direct its attention toward one of his children. Growing up I knew that I... Sign in to see full entry.

Except me as I am.

There is no one more excepting of you then your dog. You walk through the door in a bad mood, stub your toe on an end table and decide that the best way to relieve the pain is to kick it again. You cuss when the phone rings and walk about the house with angry energy positivily oozing from your very... Sign in to see full entry.

Those who love addicts

We're a special group, those who love addicts. Society shakes their heads at us wondering how intelligent people could allow themselves to be put through so much degradation and pain. Some are less understanding, saying we should just walk away, forget the fact that we love them and protect... Sign in to see full entry.
