Every Wednesday night at 9 PM my TV comes on all by itself! The first time it happened it scared the beejeebers out of me! Well it startled me a little. I thought it was broken or maybe Bo had sat on the remote turning on the TV. That really happened one night. I left the remote on the floor near the chair. What kind of birds these are? I counted six of them! They seem to be having a little party on that branch. It is one I cut off before the leaves fully formed. I figured it would be easier to cut that way. It was but I hadn't gotten around to cutting it up then I discovered the birds having a party so I had a good excuse not to. Have you ever tried orange juice in your coffee? Sounds kind of gross doesn't it? Well, it's really not bad. I discovered this a few days ago when I went to put a little milk in my coffee and realized I had just put orange juice in by mistake. I shouldn't have bought that gallon container of orange juice, but it was on sale. Now my first inclination was to just dump the whole thing and start fresh. Do you have a favorite pillow? One that seem softer that the others and just fits your head? I didn't think there was much difference from one pillow to another. Though I did notice that the foam filled ones weren't as comfortable as the down feather filled ones. Then one day I noticed my mom taking the pillow shams off of the pillows looking for 'her' pillow. She had her's marked with a safety pin on the inside of the zippered cover. I have at least one little green lizard living in the rocks around the tree in my backyard. I've even seen the little stinker scamper up and over the block wall to avoid my dog, Bo. I think the only time Bo noticed the lizard is when he ran through the rocks. The sudden movement catches Bo's attention. Otherwise the lizard blends with the landscape so well that you can't see him. I only noticed him when I saw what I thought was a rock move. At first I thought I was seeing things because, as a... It's allergy season and in the past couple of weeks I've used up two whole boxes of klee....umm tissues. I had to go to Wal-Mart to buy some more and noticed the have really increased in price. I thought Wal-Mart always claimed that they 'roll back' prices. Guess that really means that they crank them up first. The last time I bought k...tissues there they were 97 a box this time they were $1.47 a box or you could get a package of two for three dollars on sale. That means that the sale price was... Paper or Plastic? That's what they ask you whenever you check out at the grocery store. I never have figured out which is better. It's a toss up! Paper is made out of wood or trees. So picking a paper bag is like killing trees. But since the bag is already at the store. Well, that tree has sailed. It can't be saved. On the other hand using up all of the paper bags just encourages them to chop down more trees for more sacks. So no paper bags for me. Also the handle falls off if you just look at... I was sitting in my armchair feet up, cup of coffee by my side, and the Sunday funnies in my lap. All of a sudden I got this funny feeling. I looked down. It was Bo. He was staring at me. I put my cup of coffee down just in time to avoid spilling it as Bo launched himself into my lap. Uhhhuphh! Oh goody the funnies now have paw prints on them! OOhhff! Have you ever sat by a window where a beam of sunlight was shining and watched the little specs of dust dance in the light? It's amazing to watch them float on air current up and down and out of the light. They seem almost dizzy! Blow on them and even more appear dancing faster and faster. I noticed that even when I am completely still there are quite a few flecks of dust visible in the morning sunlight. They are fun to watch while sitting by the window in the morning light. It's the quicker picker upper! Do you know what brand of paper towel is advertised with that slogan? I bet you do. I just cleaned up some spilled orange juice with almost half a roll of paper towel. That made me wish that real life paper towels cleaned up spills even half as good as they do on TV. As a matter of fact I remember a commercial where a kid shook up a bottle of orange soda then opened it and let it squirt all over the room.
