LA LLORNA !!!
A ghost story! That is the crying woman...La Llorna! This is a southwest ghost story. It's about a ghost who walks along rivers and streams, really anywhere there is flowing water. She is, you guessed it, crying! She supposedly went mad and threw her children in the water where they drowned! When she realized what she had done she started walking beside the river crying loudly and searching for her kids. No one could get her to stop! Finally she collapsed and died beside the water.
