The 2006 True Stella Awards

The Stella Awards were inspired by Stella Liebeck. In 1992, Stella, then 79, spilled a cup of McDonald's coffee onto her lap, burning herself. A New Mexico jury awarded her $2.9 million in damages, but that's not the whole story. Ever since, the name "Stella Award" has been applied to any wild, outrageous, or ridiculous lawsuit – including bogus cases! It's not smart to cross the Clintons

There have been rumors for years that it was not healthy to cross the Clintons. There are many well documented cases of verbal abuse to members of the White House staff and Secret Service security details by both Bill and Hillary. Hints of more serious allegations have surfaced from time to time, but the mainstream press appears loathe to follow up, and has (rightly) not published the allegations in their raw state.
