Falling

I don't understand. I'm lost. I'm sad. Alone in a place where strangers are bad. They teach us to read so we can say, "Hey, I wanted to be at home today." At home with my own. We all speak the same. We don't charge a dime. We don't play a fool's game. We don't understand the stuff that you do. The dirty sex talk, the killing for food. We don't want to be a part of it all if all of it makes us fall and fall and fall and fall like leaves, so sad, and so oft leaving. Sign in to see full entry.

Richest Family in the World

The Walton Family is arguably the richest family in the world (the dispersed fortunes of the Rockefellers and the like being unknown to the public), their wealth inherited from Bud and Sam Walton, founders of the world's largest retailer, Wal-Mart. The five most prominent members ( Jim, John (d.2005), Rob, Alice, and Helen ) have consistently been in the top ten of the Forbes 400 since 2001, although Helen dropped to #11 in 2006, probably due at least in part to her extensive philanthropy.... Our first priority in life must be honor.

Regardless of any other gains, honor must be first attained in order to achieve one's goals in life. When we put honor first, we save our efforts from being wasted on the elimination of the undesirable. High standing in one's community, praise amongst family, friends and co-workers, reputation and trust are all qualities that honor bestows. The desire for wealth is actually a part of our desire for acceptance from others. High self-esteem is acquired through increasing one's personal wealth, and... Sign in to see full entry.

Blackboard: Fact; The Origins Of School

Published: August 4, 2002 School (skool) n. (Middle English scole < Old English scol < Latin schola < Greek schole; leisure, discussion, philosophy) When the ancient Greeks kicked back, they were at schole, or at leisure. ''Leisure and the pursuit of knowledge, the connection was inevitable -- to a Greek.'' According to The... Sign in to see full entry.

Establishing King Markley's Monarchy with an English Model

Monarchy is the oldest form of government in the United Kingdom. In a monarchy a king or queen is Head of State. The British monarchy is known as a constitutional monarchy. Although the British Sovereign no longer has a political or executive role, he or she continues to play an important part in the life of the nation. As Head of State, The Queen undertakes... Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola

A brilliantly stunning work of art, starring Kirsten Dunst and Jason Schwartzman as Marie Antoinette, the Austrian Princess who marries King Louis XVI of France. The costuming and the setting are perfection. The actors are among our most talented entertainers, and we are left sympathizing with the friendships, the inner turmoils and the hearts of these wealthiest of famed historical rulers. I am reminded in Marie of my old friend from school years, and it touches my heart to see in several of... Sign in to see full entry.

Late

I was late getting here. Still, we have no ear. I was late letting you know, please, never go. I love all of our days. I love seeing all these ways. Some days, I'm mad, but it's not me. It's someone living inside of me who wanted to scream, "Why are you so late!?" Sign in to see full entry.
