Never will it again be like this

The sun shines and a cool breeze moves the branches of the trees that sway to a primal rhythm of bliss. Birds sing and squirrels scavenge for food, there is life everywhere... swarming, growing, plentiful like the air, children playing and singing crying and fussing... there is beauty and colors, and there is death too... in the leaf that slowly lets go and floats to the ground... and in the ant that meets its demise under a tinny foot.
