What kind of treatment is there for emotional-abuse victims?

Jemmie211 asked a very good question - how does one recover from emotional abuse? The short answer is that I haven't a clue. I'm still healing myself from massive doses of it. How can you tell someone is emotionally abused?

The same Health Canada website gives people a very good idea of what to look for. Some of the "signals" are similar between adult and child victims of emotional abuse. Others differ.
