I CAN SEE THE PLANTS GROW Posted on July 23, 2020 by shamsuddin001 Sometimes, i get quiet enough That not only can i grok the meaning of the birds’ songs, I can almost see the plants grow. In the emptiness of this, I rock slowly on my porch. The oxygen from my plant relatives Fills my lungs with every in-breath. I exhale the carbon dioxide they need.
