New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve This is my 73d New Year's Eve. I will spend it at home with a friend. Chances are we will be asleep before midnight. This year promises more political chaos, continued moral degradation, likely financial crises, and little hope for the common folk. I cannot help but ask, "What's to celebrate?" But, then I turn my gaze inward. In the Sacred Center of my Soul I find reasons to hope and celebrate. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, in the very image of our Creator. In this light,...
