“Brutal Truths” attempt to expose the hypocrisy of most marriages by focusing on how men and womem spend more than half their lives denying their marriages are dead. Brutal truths evolved from conversations with 100 men and 100 women who were kind enough to answer my questions as long as I promised them anonymity. The findings were startling: Most women became enraged over the idea that love, sex, romance and marriage could thrive independently i.e. actually have no connection to each other, while the majority of men supported the concept admitting to living in “sexless, unhappy” marriages. Most women adamantly denied such conditions however confessed they would rather shop than have sex. It is incredible to discover how many people can pick a story they want to believe in and run with it for years and decades while secretly leading lives of quiet desperation.
