Stanford Re-enters their "Very Own Tourney." R NIT Best 13-5, W/2 #1s
The NIT is the oldest tournament and Stanford has its best record. Adam Keefe and Andrew Vlahov keyed their first Madison Square Garden Championship. Keefe was a great Farm All-American. Aussie Vlahov was the guy who needed to "buy a vowel." He had the most glorious Australian accent Imaginable. It was the movie age of "Crocodile Dundee." People were buying lots "Dundee" movie tickets. Vlahov was a monstrous 6'8" and 250 pounds. He was 'strong like Kong." He defended and rebounded with power.... Sign in to see full entry.
