The San Francisco Seals won the championship in the mid-sixties. I remember Mo Mantha firing hard slap shots and Len "the comet" Haley racing up ice. I can still see Orland Kurtenbach, scoring and fighting. There was no one tougher in a fight. He scored big goals that led to big wins. I remember names like Picard, Belisle and even "the Rollie Poly Goalie," Bob Perreault. There were the efficient centers named Picard and Cyr.
