The Necklace

Without you

At night, she would crawl into bed, sliding legs under the crisp coolness of the sheets. She'd close her eyes, slowly and lightly at first, then she'd see his face. Alien Beauty

She was eye catching. Just her blurry image from the corner of your eye stopped you dead in your tracks. She was breathtaking, she wasn't beautiful but her looks were painstakingly mesmerizing. She giant round eyes, almost deep set, in a coffee hue. Her nose was slight and delicate, like her fragile bony hands. I watched her, I tried not to but I couldn't help it. I put a book up to my face and peered innocently and inconspicuously from behind the worded pages.
