Hanzon Science: Mental Models of Education: How Would You Answer These Questions?

I developed the idea of Hanzon Science (Hanzon = Hands on) because I was dismayed at the way teachers taught science, always talking about it and never really understanding what science is, or how to "do" science. How can they teach what they don't know? My aim is to encourage teachers to teach Holistic science using Hanzon methods. I want to provide awareness of what Holistic science is, and provice recognition and a forum for those who teach it, and set up a place where you can come to download free or inexpensive, high-value hands-on (Hanzon) materials so you can actually do science and not just talk about it. I want to link you to places and websites that promote hands-on teaching and I want you to contribute your own hands-on inventions or activities that kids (of any age) can enjoy and do without fancy equipment or a federal grant.
