THE "SURVIVAL OF THE FITTIST" AND THE LIFESPAN OF THE HOUSEFLY!

I am informed that the lifespan of the ordinary housefly is very short - on the order of between 15 and 25 days and that, in fact, the lifespans of many insects can be measured in days.
