DEATH IS OFTEN ONLY THE BEGINNING...

SECOND LIFE Down upon the ground, Lay a log cut harsh, A mighty tree this morning, In forest vast and virgin, For centuries it had stood, Then the little men, Come they with axes, Flashing in the sun, Down the tree fell crashing, Dismembered, stripped, Team of horses dragged, To the mill and great saw, Into timbers stout sawn, Seasoned for awhile, Then to the river bank, With thousands of others, Trees many joined together, By shipwrights giving birth, A ship a part they became, Frigate, narrow,...
