We had snow, I think, on the end of January/beginning of February. It was very cold that year from what I remember. The... Sign in to see full entry.

Weather
The weather here in November is mild at the moment. We haven't had the cold frosty mornings yet. There has been the odd day here and there with rain, but that's all. The Great Fire of London
On the night of September 2, 1666, a small fire broke out in the premises of a baker's shop in Pudding Lane, London, perhaps started by the carelessness of a maid. If it was carelessness, it was carelessness that had enormous and disastrous consequences, for the fire spread and soon the whole... Sign in to see full entry.
